Set in the sixteen century, this epic romance
begins as a marriage of alliance between two
cultures and religions,for political gain,
with the Hindu King Bharmal of Amergiving his
daughter's hand to a Muslim Emperor, Akbar.
When Akbar accepts the marriage proposal,
little does he know that in his efforts to
strengthen his relations with the Rajputs,
he would in turn be embarking on a new journey
- the journey of true love.

From the battlefield where the young Jalaluddin
was crowned, through the conquests that won him
the title of Akbar the Great ('Akbar" in
Arabic mean great), to winning the love of the
beautiful Jodhaa, Jodhaa Akbar traces the
impressive graph of the mighty emperor and his
romance wit hthe defiant princess.

With Hrithik Roshan as Akbar and Ashwarya Rai
Bachchan as Jodhaa, the film is produce by

My Opinion

I have always love Bollywood movies not just because of their
unique culture but for their colorfulness! Not just in their
traditional clothing but in their decorating, styles, scenes, and
even down to their food. I have always been fascinated ever
since I was a little girl as I grew up watching them and loved
everything about them. This movie is worth watching. As
you watch the movie you can really tell that everything was
put into consideration before moving on to the next scene.
I love both the actor and actress Hirithik Roshan and Aishwarya
Rai. So this movie was a must watch for me. I liked how the
love between them pull them together throughout the movie,
and how they both secretly watch each other when the other
one isn't watching. I LOVE the chemistry between them both!!
I believe that's what made this movie so powerful and so
touching even though there weren't much love scenes. I loved
how Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar (Hrithik Roshan) look so
fierce on the battlefield but yet can melt my heart when he's
with Jodha Bai (Aishwarya Rai). The only downfall that I
didn't like about the movie is that Jodha Bai (Aishwarya Rai)
didn't have a lot of line to express her defiant character and
how she didn't really act like a princes but like a normal
civilian. Even though when it was her time to shine, she
did show a strong lady standing her ground. *sigh :)*
What more can I say about this movie? I just love it and
it brings a smile to my face while watching it or thinking
about it. The story line is a very simple one to follow
and it gets down to the point right away. There is no
beating around the bush to get the answer. It does
seem long by my run time listed at the top but it
goes by so fast, you won't even realize it until your
almost done with the movie. Over all this is a very
nice movie to watch on a raining day or just because
day. This movie did not only make me want to watch
more Bollywood movie but made me fall in love with
Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai all over again.

Song: Jashn-E-Bahaara

Music by A R Rahman

Lyrics by Jayed Aktar

Performed by Javed Ali

kehne ko jashn-e-bahaara hai, ishq yeh dekhke hairan hai - (2)

there is blossom in the environment just to say, but love
is wondering after seeing this

phul se khusbu khafa khafa hai gulshan mein
that the fragrance is displeased with flowers in the garden

chupa hai koyi ranj fija ki chilman mein
there is some grief hidden in the environment

saare sehme najaare hain, soye soye waqt ke dhaare hain
all the sights are in fear, and the time is like slept

aur dil mein koyi khoyi si baten hain
and there are some lost things in the heart

kehne ko jashn-e-bahaara hai, ishq yeh dekhke hairan hai
there is blossom in the environment just to say, but love
is wondering after seeing this

phul se khusbu khafa khafa hai gulshan mein
that the fragrance is displeased with flowers in the garden

chupa hai koyi ranj fija ki chilman mein
there is some grief hidden in the environment

kaise kahen kya hai sitam, sochate hai abb yeh hum
how to say what kind of injustice is there, i am
thinking about this now

koyi kaise kahen woh hai ya nahee humaare
can anybody tell me whether he/she is mine or not

karte toh hai saath safar, faasale hain phir bhi magar
we are travelling together, but still there is
distance between us

jaise milte nahee kisi dariya ke do kinaare
like the two sides of river never meets

paas hain phir bhi paas nahee, humko yeh gum raas nahee
we are together but not actually together, this grief is
not acceptable by me

seeshe ki ik diwaar hai jaise darmiyaan
there is a wall of glass between us

saare sehme najaare hain, soye soye waqt ke dhaare hain
all the sights are in fear, and the time is like slept

aur dil mein koyi khoyi si baten hain
and there are some lost things in the heart

kehne ko jashn-e-bahaara hai, ishq yeh dekhke hairan hai
there is blossom in the environment just to say, but love
is wondering after seeing this

phul se khusbu khafa khafa hai gulshan mein
that the fragrance is displeased with flowers in the garden

chupa hai koyi ranj fija ki chilman mein
there is some grief hidden in the environment

hamane ne jo tha nagma suna, dil ne tha usako chuna
the song which i had heard, is selected by my heart

yeh daastaan hame waqt ne kaisi sunayi
but what story the time is telling to me

hum jo agar hai gumgin, woh bhi udhar khush toh nahee
if i am in grief here, he/she is not also happy there

mulaakaato mein jaise ghul si gayi tanhayi
like there is loneliness mixed inside the talks

milake bhi hum milate nahee, khilake bhi gul khilate nahee
we are met but not actually met, the roses are blooming
but not actually

aankhon mein hai bahaaren, dil mein khija
my eyes are seeing the beautiful vista, but the heart
is broken down

saare sehme najaare hain, soye soye waqt ke dhaare hain
all the sights are in fear, and the time is like slept

aur dil mein koyi khoyi si baten hain
and there are some lost things in the heart

kehne ko jashn-e-bahaara hai, ishq yeh dekhke hairan hai
there is blossom in the environment just to say, but love
is wondering after seeing this

phul se khusbu khafa khafa hai gulshan mein
that the fragrance is displeased with flowers
in the garden

chupa hai koyi ranj fija ki chilman mein
there is some grief hidden in the
environment
